At times like this, I like to glance over at this photocopy I found during my archival work.

Sees CBC Service Cuts Unless Money Provided (G&M, April 22, 1949)

Almost exactly 60 years ago.

Good to be reminded that these storms can be weathered.

I still think privileging the private broadcasters over CBC is a mistake.
